February Favorites

Another month has ended and it's time for another monthly favorite post. This month is a lot shorter than most but I feel like I have a lot newer things to share for this month.

Beauty
Sephora lipstick set
I got this at christmas time from a friend but only recently have I been using it regularily and I absolutely love the variety of colors it comes with. You can definitely find a color to fit any occasions.

Maybelline Master Smoky Pencil
I've been using this on my water line at the top to give some depth to my eyes without going more bold and doing it on the lid, I'm trying to stay more neutral and natural.

L'oreal Voluminous False Fibre Lashes mascara
I haven't had time to go purchase my favorite mascara (Clinique) so I got this one when I was at Walmart one day and I really like how it makes my lashes look and a good alternative until I get my good mascara again.

Hair
Ombre
I have gone back to the ombre look, I was bored with plain brown hair so I went with a more subtle version where it's more light brown dark blonde at the ends but it looks good and I like this look.

Fashion
Dresses with converse sneakers
Since spring is nearing, I am trying to step away from wearing boots all the time. I recently saw a picture of a girl wearing a pretty dress with some high top converse sneakers so I tried it out and I love the look.

Boho
As I have mentioned in my previous post, I am really loving the "boho" look. Flowy tops and pretty patterns I really want to make it part of my spring look so I have slowly been searching for just the right pieces to add to my wardrobe.

Food
Hershey's Skor toffee bites cookies
I've been baking a lot and I came across this pack of Hershey's Skor and I found a recipe that used these and they turned out to be some of the best cookies I have ever made!

Movie
Endless Love
Go figure! I went to see this on Valentines day. How could I not?! It was an absolutely adorable romance story that wasn't a typical happy story the whole way through. There were some rough patches but all in all it was such a great storyline and a lovely movie.

Other
Paint Night
For my birthday at the beginning of the month, I hosted a "paint night" which basically consisted of painting a set design with friends and food and win. It was the best birthday I have ever had and all my friends agreed it was one of the best ideas ever. If you need an idea for a party, I strongly suggest giving this a try.

This is what I have been loving for the month of February. Now to bring on March and new spring favorites!
