March Favorites

I'm going to try to get this post earlier than usual because I have really been behind on posting. I got into a block of some sort where I just didn't know what I wanted to be writing about. Nothing was really inspiring me so I just waited until the monthly favorites post would be okay to do. So luckily this month once again I have actually made an effort to try out some new things and some things just kind of came to me without any intention of thinking much of it.

Beauty/Hair

Lush Marilyn Hair Treatment

As I have mentioned I think in a previous post, I have an ombre effect to my hair and I don't want the bottoms to get to an ugly blonde. So I was looking around for some ideas on how to keep it looking good and healthy. And I was watching YouTube and someone mentioned this product. I didn't think much about it and went to Lush to purchase it (it was a little pricy at $25) but I still got it and tried it out that evening and I really liked the results. It didn't do anything drastic but it almost blended the blonde colour more to look more natural and it definitely made my hair shinny and soft.

OPI "You're such a Budapest" 

I love this color more than anything for some reason! I just think it is the perfect shade of a lilac purple and it is the best Spring color ever! I wore it for like 3 weeks straight.

Lip Smacker Cherry

This product is nothing special it's just something I got in my stocking at Christmas time and never really paid much attention to it until I started wearing it. I am usually not a big fan of anything cherry but this lip smacker adds a little hint of color to my lips and it's really hydrating I find. I just wear it on a regular day when I don't have a reason to be dolled up

Books

Wallbanger - Alice Clayton

Oh. My. Gosh. This is probably my favorite book in the whole wide world! I mentioned it at Christmas time in one of my gift guide posts but I was reading it this month and I liked the story so much that as soon as I was done I actually read it again. I just think the idea is so cute and the characters are so loveable it's really worth reading.

Movie

Divergent

Obviously! It came out where I live March 21st and I obviously saw it on the first day. I was a huge fan of the books so when I heard there was a movie I was definitely counting down the days. I enjoyed the movie in a different way than I enjoyed the books. It was a little different but still very enjoyable.

Food

Presidents Choice Mango and Carrot Fruit and Veggie Smoothie

This is an odd thing to mention but I am obsessed with it. If anyone lives in Canada (maybe this is the US too) but you'll know about Presidents Choice. Well my favorite "food" is the PC Carrot Mango Smoothie. It is delicious! I drink it every morning and I'm pretty sure it has to be good for me too.

There goes another month and another bunch of favorites. I will try to post more often now I think I have some new ideas on what to write about :)
