New Obsession: Yoga
On my journey to feeling better and becoming more relaxed, a friend of mine suggested I try yoga. I have always known about yoga, thought that it was pretty cool and it has forever been on my "must try" list but I never took the liberty to actually go out and see what it was all about. Finally, I recently decided that I was going to try it out for myself and see what all the fuss was about. I was doing a lot of research to find out the different types and what each one has to offer. After much reading and disyphering of the "yoga words" I found that the candlelight yoga and the restorative yoga was best suited for me. I wanted something that was going to help me relax and calm down after my busy stressful work weeks and boy do they ever do the trick! I find myself being able to let go from my thoughts and just be able to sit there and focus on "the now". I sincerely suggest it to anyone who either wants an extracuricular activity or is looking for ways to relax.
