What to Wear: Christmas Parties

It's that time of the year again where you will be attending many christmas parties and work parties as well. I think there is an unspoken etiquette on how to dress for either events depending on whether you are with coworkers at a work event or a christmas bash with your friends. Here are my outfit ideas that I think would be perfect for every occasion.

Work Party/Dinner

Since you are going to be at work with coworkers and executives and your boss, you should remember to stay appropriate and never let loose too much so that nothing is done that you might later regret. Same goes with your clothing choices. You should dress for these Holiday parties as you would for a regular work day. Having said that, keep in mind that the cleavage is to a minimum, no extra skin is exposed and you look polished ready to party but still professional. Here are some dresses I found that I think would work perfectly for a Holiday work event.

Christmas Party with Friends

A Christmas party with friends means you can wear that dress that you couldn't wear to your work get together. As long as you are in the company of your friends, more sparkle and skin can be perfectly appropriate. I kind of stuck to a sparkle theme for these dresses as I think they look fun and very festive.

Family Christmas Dinner

I always like dressing up for my family dinners, I think it makes the night more special when everyone is nicely dressed and it just adds to the Holiday spirit and makes everything more special. For family gathering I think almost anything is fine to wear but I think by toning down the sparkle and looking a little more cute as oppose to sexy is the key. I like these dresses because each one has a very cute look to it and I think they would be perfect for the family Christmas dinner.

New Years Eve

This is the big one, the time to bring out the sparkle! Almost any dress can work for New Years Eve because it's that one time of the year to be out there and dress as sparkly and over the top as you want! I am really into the sparkle dresses this year as well as the flapper style as well and it shows in my three picks for the New Years Eve dresses.
