I went to Walmart recently just to pick up some groceries and typical me, got carried away in the beauty sections and ended up with quite the little haul of things. Some new that I haven't tried out yet and some things that I have previously purchased but felt the need to use it again.

Things I bought:
Almay Intense I-Color Smokey Eyes for Brown Eyes
Cover Girl Clean Oil Control Powder in Buff Beige
Revlon Whimsical Nail Polish
Hard Candy Pixie Pink Nail Polish
Ecotools 6 Piece Day to Night Set
NYC Kohl Brown Eye Pencil
AG Color Care Silver Toning Shampoo

I have wanted to try out these Almay eye intensifying color palates and so far I've used them for 2 days and tried it on my mom (who also has brown eyes) and we have both agreed that it does make our eyes pop without looking like we have A LOT of makeup on to do so. I have to say I am quite pleased and I think I might even go and pick up the other version that Almay carried for brown eyes to see how I like that one. My mom has also decided to buy this particular one as well. Definitely recommended!
I have used this powder in the past but it was nothing to cry home about. However I was getting low on my current powder and I was looking around for anything that caught my eye. I really try to stick with powders (or any makeup for that matter) that claims that it will help with oily skin. So since I didn't find anything else that was catching my attention and my current powder was sold out of my shade I decided to go with this again and see what I think. Stay tuned.
I am IN LOVE with this nail polish. I am wearing it as we speak and I think it is the most adorable color combination with the sparkles and everything! It reminds me of a tame version of that intense Japanese nail art. The only issue with this nail polish is that you need to layer on at least 6 coats to make it visible enough. Otherwise I love it! New favorite for sure.
I was in a nail polish buying mood after I saw the Revlon one I wanted more cute colors. And it's called Pixie Pink, which just happen to be 2 of my favorite things - Pixie being my dog and Pink my favorite color! I couldn't say no I was instantly sold!
I am always complaining that I don't have nice brushes and I have always told myself to go buy new ones every time I'm at the drug store. So when I was in this buying mood I figured now was better than ever to finally get some new brushes. I originally wanted to buy the Real Technique brush set but I was conflicted because I really only like 1 or 2 brushed in each of the sets. Just as I was about to walk away this set caught my eye and I saw that 5 out of the 6 brushes were the ones I was looking for so I went with these. I have been using them since I bought them and I have to say I really like them and I am happy with my purchase. Plus they are eco friendly!

I know I am late to the party but I was never one to always fill in my brows until recently when I was doing makeup for a friend of mine who I was doing their engagement photos for and saw how much better it looked for her. Ever since then I have been doing it myself and I have to say I am surprised it took me so long to get on the brow train!
Finally last but not least this amazing shampoo! I used to have blond hair back when I was in high school and I also happened to work at a hair salon so I got to know all the higher end products and let me tell you.. I love this shampoo. I think for someone who isn't naturally blond and will want to prevent any copper tones going into your hair than this is the best toning product I have used yet.
Hope you enjoyed this little beauty haul
Until Next Time
