Halloween Costume Idea #1: Wednesday Addams
Finding a picture od Wednesday Addams full outfit was actually harder than I thought and I noticed that there were two versns of her costume. One like shown in the picture with a more black and grey floral pattern dress and the one I am recreating with the black dress. Either way, this is a really easy costume to put together at the last minute and most of the items to create this, you can most likely find in your closet.
What You'll Need
Black dress
White button up shirt
Black flats
Black and white leggings
Black long haired wig (if you don't naturally have dark long hair)
For makeup just make your face pale with darker eyes and if you wanted to spice up this looks add some blood red lipstick and dont forget to paint your nails blood red! If you are using a wig or your natural hair, just part it down the middle and braid both sides. This will complete your Wednesday Addams look, super simple!
Halloween Costume Idea #2: Audrey Hepburn
If you we're a fan of the maxi dresses in the summer, then chances are you might be able to pull this look off without even having to buy anything. I'm going for the Breakfast at Tiffany's look with the long black dress, pearls, and that cute crown.
What You'll Need
Long black maxi dress
Black flats
Pearls
Crown
Sun glasses
Long black gloves
Cigarette holder
Since this movie was in black and white, it is a little hard to tell exactly what she did as far as makeup goes but she was a classic beauty so I would go for a simple black eyeliner to make a cat eyes and a neutral lip. For her hair just make a little bun and add in the crown. If you don't want to buy a cigarette holder, it's easy to make one by rolling up black paper from the longer end and adding a smaller rolled up white piece at the end to look like a cigarette. Put on the black elbow length gloves and you are good to go as Audrey Hepburn.
Halloween Costume Idea #3: Daisy Buchanan
I think the roaring 20's had some of the most beautiful outfits and when The Great Gatsby came out, I know that I was going to want to be one of the characters for Halloween.
What You'll Need
"Flapper" style dress
Lots of pearls and diamond jewelry
Kitten heels to match the dress
Blond 20's style wig
Diamond hair piece
As far as makeup goes, she has a very nice smoky eye but make sure nothing too drastic and pronounced for the lips keep them neutral or a nice neutral pink. Find the 20's wig and attach the hair piece to it. Pile on the rest of the jewelry on each hand and you are set!
These are my last minute easy Halloween ideas for costumes. I hope they gave you some ideas to create your own last minute costumes with items you have laying around or that you will be able to put these costumes together yourself. Have a happy and safe Halloween!
Until Next Time
