My Halloween Essentials

I never used to love the fall/halloween season as much before, but in the recent years the season is starting to grow on me and it is becoming a good second to Christmas for my favourite times of the year. In preparing for Halloween time there have been a few things I have purchased to make things more festive around me. Here are my Halloween Essentials

***

1. Halloween Nails
I bought these recently as I usually never get fake nails done at the salon I am an avid nail do-er but when I saw these I just couldn't resist because they were so cute and to make them myself using my nail air skills would be next to impossible. I have mentioned this brand before in one of my monthly fav's because of the durability and the fact that they last close to 2 weeks and you never feel like you can't do anything with them they are basically just prettier versions of your actual nails!

2. Candles
I almost always have candles on and this particular item is more for the Fall side of Halloween but I just love how a room feels when there are candles on and it just feels cozy and warm and since the weather outside is getting colder, it's just the perfect atmosphere to be in.

3. Halloween Lights
I also mentioned this in another post before but since they are halloween lights I have to mention is in this! This goes hand in hand with the candles and gives it a more Halloween feel. I was in Walmart in the Halloween decorations and I saw these purple coloured lights and thought that they would look perfect over my bed and when I brought them home to try, they gave a subtle purple/pink glow to the room that I just loved.

4. Halloween Book - Halloween Party by Agatha Christie
I like to do everything based on the seasons, like what music I listen to all the way to what books to read. It's a little odd I know, but it's how I have always done things! So naturally I wanted to read a Halloween related book and I am a huge fan of Agatha Christie so when I saw she wrote a book called Halloween - I had to have it! It's a good classic Agatha Christie mystery who-done-it novel that I really enjoyed, I haven't finished yet so I don't even know who did it!

5. Skeleton Gloves
Finally, these awesome skeleton gloves. If you know me at all, you know that I love skulls and anything dark and spooky like that. So when I was in Rexall and saw these gloves, I absolutely had to have them. They add something fun to your everyday outfit even if you are just wearing them from point A to point B.

Hope everyone has a good Halloween and maybe some of these things can help you guys get into the Halloween mood! Happy Halloween :)

Until Next Time
